1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Haven! By accessing or using Haven’s platform, services, or smart contracts (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use Haven.
2. Eligibility
To use Haven, you must:
Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
Not be located in a restricted country or sanctioned by any government body (e.g., OFAC).
Have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
3. Description of Services
Haven allows users to:
Create, join, and participate in communities organized around specific topics.
Engage with token-based communities, where tokens may grant additional privileges.
Post, comment, and interact with user-generated content.
Use blockchain-based features, such as staking, rewards, and token-gated access.
Haven is not a broker, financial institution, or investment platform. We do not facilitate financial transactions beyond platform utilities.
4. User Accounts & Security
Users must connect a blockchain wallet to participate. Haven does not store private keys.
You are responsible for securing your wallet and transactions.
You must not impersonate others, create fraudulent accounts, or engage in multi-account farming.
5. User Content & Conduct
Haven is a user-generated content platform, meaning users are responsible for their posts, comments, and shared media. By posting content, you agree that:
You own or have rights to the content you share.
You grant Haven a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content.
You will not post illegal, defamatory, harmful, or misleading content.
You will not engage in hate speech, harassment, fraud, or market manipulation.
You will respect community rules and moderator decisions.
Haven reserves the right to remove content that violates these rules or is flagged by the community.
6. Token-Based Communities & Rewards
Some communities may have native tokens that provide additional privileges.
Holding tokens does not guarantee profits or financial gain. Tokens are not investments and should not be treated as securities.
Haven does not issue, trade, or control community tokens; we only provide the infrastructure for communities.
Rewards or staking mechanisms are governed by smart contracts and are subject to volatility, risk, and third-party audits.
7. Service fees
We charge fees for certain services provided on Haven. This includes, but is not limited to:
Community Token Transactions – Haven collects a fee on token swaps, purchases, and sales conducted within the platform.
On-Chain Minting Fees – Certain actions, such as minting new tokens or creating smart contracts through Haven’s infrastructure, may incur additional fees.
Other Blockchain-Based Services – Any additional fees associated with staking, governance participation, or other token-powered actions may apply, as disclosed at the time of use.
Fees are typically paid in Ether (ETH) or stablecoins, depending on the transaction type.
All fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in these Terms or required by law.
For more details about Haven’s fee structure, visit our [support page] or refer to the relevant sections of these Terms.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
Use Haven for financial fraud, Ponzi schemes, or money laundering.
Promote unregistered securities, investment schemes, or illegal financial instruments.
Engage in wash trading, price manipulation, or pump-and-dump schemes.
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit Haven’s smart contracts or platform.
8. Blockchain Transactions & Smart Contracts
Haven interacts with blockchain networks, meaning transactions are immutable and irreversible.
We do not control gas fees, network congestion, or third-party failures.
Users are responsible for understanding the risks of using smart contracts, including vulnerabilities or unforeseen bugs.
9. Moderation & Enforcement
Haven provides community-led moderation tools, but we reserve the right to suspend, ban, or remove users who violate these Terms.
If you believe a moderator has abused power, you may submit an appeal through our support process.
10. Termination & Account Suspension
Haven may restrict or terminate access if:
You violate these Terms or applicable laws.
You engage in harmful, fraudulent, or abusive behavior.
Regulatory actions require us to restrict certain services or jurisdictions.
Users may delete their accounts at any time, but blockchain-related data may remain permanently recorded on-chain.
11. Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure
Haven provides an experimental Web3 platform and does not guarantee uptime, security, or financial returns.
Crypto assets are volatile, and engaging in token-based communities carries inherent risks.
We do not offer financial, legal, or investment advice. Always do your own research (DYOR).
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haven and its affiliates are not liable for:
Financial losses due to token trading, staking, or market fluctuations.
Smart contract failures, exploits, or vulnerabilities.
Actions of third-party services, wallets, or blockchain networks.
Lost access to your account or wallet due to user error.
13. Changes to These Terms
Haven may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by law. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration rather than court proceedings.
